This project was me playing around with a logo I made in an earlier project. I took that into after effects. In after effects I created a line element and gave it a glow and animated it sweeping and pulsing. Then, I used a mask to hide the text and key framed it to slowly reveal. Lastly I animated the text to match the glow of the line. The music in the video is part of the song I produced.
I made this for my music work. I wanted to make a logo to put on merchandise and for web branding.
I created a song in the style of one of my favorite games, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and I wanted to create some cover art for the track. I was aiming to mimic the familiar Nintendo logo. I used photoshops pen tool to create splines of the oval shape as well as the text. I adjusted the text splines to reference best I could. I drew the pixel art using the pencil tool at a size of 1.
