This is my second after effects project done in September 2018. I wanted to practice character animation with a character. I cut the image into layers and used the puppet pin tool in after effects to animate the different elements of the character.

For this project I was responsible for the animation and music.
I lost my data in 2020 sadly. This project is included in that. What I can present is what I did have on other drives/online.
The eyes were a real challenge for my first time doing this thing. I used a mask to wipe the eye and iris layers when the eyelids closed to create a blinking effect. I also used a glow and a mask to create a sort of twinkle in the eye effect.
Then, I used the multiple layers to apply effects that change as the music progresses. I animated some elements in time with the music.
